090: Secrets to Being a Baller

There are 80 million millennials out there and no, not all are lazy and entitled. There are plenty who want true freedom, prefer entrepreneurship to the 9 to 5 grind and are hungry for mentors who give them the real deal. Grant Cardone and his millennial protégé, Jarrod Glandt target the under 35 crowd with the tips and insights they need to succeed in any economic climate. Between the loose laid back banter and the frequent references to Jay Z, Kanye, Led Zeppelin music and other pop culture millennial viewers consider Grant their “millennial mentor” and can’t get enough of Grant and Jarrod’s straight up no BS advice.

The term “baller” is automatically associated with money. But to Jarrod a baller is someone with money and business so big no one can touch it. Having big money, big faith, big health… all of these things make a baller.

Think about all of the people who have everything going for them; actors, doctors, lawyers, etc—you don’t see all the work it took them to get there. You want the sexy thing, but you aren’t willing to do the sexy things to get there.

3 Tips to Becoming a Baller
1. There’s no such thing as an overnight baller
2. Your work ethic should make you puke
3. All ballers have one thing in common: they’re closers

When the game is on the line, you pass to the baller—because they can close, finish, make the goal on any challenge they face.

089: Secrets to Closing the Sale

Grant Cardone and Jarrod Glandt go over the massive topic of closing the sale. You can pitch your product, advertise and spend money on marketing, but there comes a point when the close has to happen. If it doesn’t, the deal isn’t done.

Grant personally delivered over 4.5-hours of content on this important topic in a webinar that you can OWN FOREVER. Watch it again and again to get every bit of information from it!

Jarrod and Grant address bad advice from other sources, such as:
• Trying to close the wrong person
• Closing too soon
• Don’t twist their arm
• Waiting too long to close

These are ALL WRONG. Don’t ignore your lines of communication. If you do, you’re abandoning your dreams. Don’t abandon your kids, your parents, your spouse, none of it. Close as soon as you meet the customer, close before you leave. But make sure to know when you need to sell, when you need to listen, and precisely when you need to go for the close.

Grant shares a personal story where he got loose, messed up, and lost a $400k deal just because of a very basic mistake. He reminds you to stay on top of your game.

176: The Secrets of the Wealthy

Grant Cardone, NY Times bestselling author and successful entrepreneur, offers insights and advice to help the middle class break out and achieve true freedom. In this episode Grant focuses on income disparity and explains that rich people continue to get rich because they are focused on getting rich. He offers hard-hitting, eye-opening comparisons of how wealthy people approach money versus the middle class. “Most people aren’t thinking about getting wealthy. They’re thinking about getting by.” Grant explains that how we think about money determines the wealth we create. How our parents raised us to think about money affects us. However, Grant explains that it is up to us to do the following things to create wealth and the freedom that comes with it.

Grant’s Wealth Tips:
1. Study those who achieved wealth.
2. Understand money isn’t made it is collected.
3. Don’t earn to spend, earn to invest.
4. Create passive, residual income flows.

Grant takes callers and encourages them to study Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg and other wealthy people and pay attention to what they do with their money. Callers agree that money was either a subject not discussed or, something they were educated not to have. Grant explains that capitalists use money to generate more so they can be free.
