But there’s a huge downside as well, which is that you can never walk away from it, and you can never sell it.

Tony Robbins can never be replaced, and neither can Tim Ferriss, or Gary Vaynerchuk, or myself.

So one of my biggest goals is to only build companies that I can sell moving forward. That’s one of the primary reasons I’m branching out into the hydroponic food industry.

Why would you want to sell your business?

Because it’s basically a time machine.

If you sell your company for 7 times its earnings, you’re essentially collecting 7 years worth of reward, without 7 more years of work.
