Today we dive into a topic that affects every single one of us, and that I find incredibly fascinating…

The future.

Specifically, how our world is being transformed by technology at such rapid and exponential pace, that we’ll hardly be able to recognize it just 20 years from now.

What will happen to the world as the work force is replaced by robots and automation, what will our children do to make a living, what are the new opportunities these changes will create, and will personal freedom and privacy survive this revolution?

To walk us through these questions and more today, we’re joined by Alec Ross.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Alec played a key role in developing Sen. Barack Obama’s technology and innovation plan, helping execute the first modern day internet marketing campaign for a Presidential Candidate.

In 2009 he served as the Senior Adviser for Innovation to Secretary Hillary Clinton.

Politics aside, Alex has played a unique role that has bridged the gap between Silicon Valley and Washington, and he’s been a vocal proponent of internet freedom, and has spent much of his career fighting attempts to control and surveil the internet by governments around the world.

This week he’s is releasing his brand new book on the topic, called Industries of the Future.

In other words, this is going to be an extremely fascinating interview with some incredibly valuable ideas for you entrepreneurs towards the end.

So please welcome Alec Ross, on how to survive and thrive in the Industries of the Future…
